PRODUCT OVERVIEW:

XBD-LG pump set is a new fire fighting control product developed by our company in accordance with the actual market demand of fire pump and its special working requirements and in strict conformity with GB6245-2006 Performance Requirements and Test Methods for Fire Pumps released by the state lately. All of its performance indexes have reached or exceeded the standard requirements through the test of China National Fire Equipment Quality Supervision Center and also it has gained the approval certificate of fire control product of Shanghai.

XBD-LG series Includes two structure types: vertical multi-stage and removable vertical multi-stage to meet the user's different working requirements.

 

APPLICATIONS: 

XBD-LG series of fire pump Is mainly Used In the fire hydrant fire-extinguishing system, the automatic sprinkler fire-extinguishing system and soon among fixed fire systems for various enterprises and institutions, engineering construction, high-rise buildings and so on It can transport the clear water containing no solid particles or other media with similar physical and chemical properties as water below 100°C. Also it can be used for fire protection, water of life supply system for the water supply and drainage of buildings and city.

 

FRAMEWORK DESCRIPTION:

XBD-LG fire pump is a pump coupled to a motor. The pump's shaft is coupled to the motor's, absolute coaxial connection between pump and motor ensure the pump's stable operation low noise and so on. The motor adopts a Y-type or Y2-type 3-phase asynchronous type, which is easy for replacement, and the whole adopts the rigid coupling without calibration for use. Its shaft gland adopts a mechanical seal and it adopts a removable structure, thus being easy for replacing the mechanical seal.

The pump's direction of rotation is clockwise when it's overseen from the motor end.

 

CORE FEATURES:

  • 5. The inlet and the outlet can be installed either in the same direction or at angles of 90°C, 180°C and 270°C to satisfy different connection occasions as required.
  • 6. Its pump head lift are decided by increasing of decreasing its stage level and the outer diameter of impeller diameter without changing the floor space of Installation, which is unique among pumps.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION:

  • 1. The pipeline should not be supported by the pump in installation, or it would be easily damaged.
  • 2. Both pump and motor are integrally structured and calibrated by the manufacturer at ex-works. So, there is no need to do any adjustment in installation and leaving a very convenient work.
  • 3. Tighten the foot bolts end check them every a certain period of time to prevent them from being loose thus preventing the pump performance from being affected due to a severe vibration of it at starting.
  • 4. Check if there is any hard objects (such as stones, iron sand etc) inside the flow path of the pump before installation so as to prevent the flow-passing parts from being damaged during its running.
  • 5. For a convenient service and operation safety, fix an adjusting valve on both inlet and outlet pipelines and a pressure gage near both inlet and outlet, and for the pump of a high head, a check valve before the gate valve, so as to meet with the accident of power loss such as an abrupt cut-off, thus making sure the pump runs under the best working conditions and extending its duration of use.
  • 6. In case of a sullen head for the pump to be used with, a foot valve has to be mounted and both inlet and outlet pipelines should not have too many bends and water or air leak so as to avoid affecting its suction performance.
  • 7. Mount a filter before the inlet to have any foreign matters stopped there to prevent the flow path against being blocked upend thus keeping the pump's performance well.
  • 8. Move the rotor part before mounting pipelines to see if there is any frictional sound or Jamming and disassemble the pump and check the causes if any.

 

START AND STOP:

Preparations before starting

  • 1. Turn the coupling with hand, the impeller should not be Jammed and moves flexibly.
  • 2. 0pentheinletvalveandthe exhaust valve to let the liquid full of the pump cavity, then close the exhaust valve.
  • 3. Preheat the pump at 50°C/h if used to for transporting hot liquid the preheat is made by the continuous Circulation of the liquid being transported and, in this way, every part of it is evenly heated.
  • 4. First move the pump by several turns to have the lubricating water into the end-face of the mechanical seal.
  • 5. Start the motor to see if it moves in right direction.
